The PIAW, YPC to Award Scholarships to High School, College Students

Scholarship Applications are Due February 15, 2015

THE PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE AGENTS OF WISCONSIN, YOUNG PROFESSIONALS CLUB TO AWARD 10, $2,500 SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE STUDENTS

MADISON, Wisconsin (December 18, 2014) – The Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin (PIAW) Young Professionals Club, based in Madison, WI, is awarding $25,000 in scholarships to high school and college students who are pursuing careers in insurance or a related field of study such as risk management.

High school seniors and current college students may be awarded a $2,500 scholarship provided they submit an application and meet the entry criteria. These are some of the largest private scholarships available. Application forms are available from the PIAW web site (www.piaw.org.)

The application form and attachments need to be submitted by February 15, 2015. Applicants also need a PIAW sponsor. They can go to the website and find the PIAW agent in their hometown to request a sponsorship, if needed. No insurance has to be purchased to qualify for the scholarships.

The Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, Inc,. is a trade association representing over 650 independent insurance agencies in Wisconsin and 3,500 agents and employees.
