Support Reinstatement of the Crop Inflation Adjustment!

Crop insurance agents play a critical role in delivering the Federal Crop Insurance Program. However, due to a freeze on inflation adjustments since 2015, agent commissions have been effectively cut - while the demands on agents continue to grow.
In 2022, PIA successfully helped pass language affirming that the Risk Management Agency (RMA) can make adjustments to the Administrative and Operating (A&O) expense subsidy to allow inflation adjustments to commissions. However, RMA refuses to act without further direction. Congress must step in.
Congress must act now to ease the impact on agent commissions and better allow agents to serve the increasing risk management needs of farmers.
Take just a minute to send a message to your legislators, and tell them to reinstate the inflation adjustment and support the agents who safeguard our nation's farmers!
