Learn about an agent’s role in properly transferring risk on behalf of consumers by correctly identifying what parties have insurable interest under both property and liability exposures. Examine the methods to identify the owners of property, policy language in both personal lines and commercial lines policies that address which parties with be indemnified and/or defended in the event of covered claims. Review the consequences and coverages gaps created by improper identification of insurable interest.

Learn how to present these concepts in order to better serve the risk transfer needs of today’s consumers.
